1: Title: Ag-NPs induce apoptosis, mitochondrial damages and MT3/OSGIN2 expression changes in an in vitro model of human dental-pulp-stem-cells-derived neurons.
Authors: Bonaventura, Gabriele, et.al. .
Journal: Neurotoxicology, Vol. 67, 2018 .
Snippet: Our results showed that acute exposure to Ag-NPs cause cytotoxicity, by triggering cell apoptosis, damaging neuronal connections, affecting the mitochondrial activity and changing the mRNA expression level of MT3 and OSGIN2, two genes involved in heavy metals metabolism and cellular growth during oxidative stress conditions.

2: Title: miR-199a-5p regulates HIF-1α and OSGIN2 and its expression is correlated to soft-tissue sarcoma patients' outcome.
Authors: Keßler, Jacqueline, et.al. .
Journal: Oncology letters (Oncol Lett), Vol. 12 (6): 5281-5288, 2016 .
Snippet: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report demonstrating the regulation of the 3'untranslated region of the OSGIN2 gene by miR-199a-5p and a significant correlation between low miR-199a-5p expression and a poor outcome of patients with soft tissue sarcoma.
