Phosphoserine phosphatase pseudogene 1

This gene is significantly upregulated in Fanconi's anemia fibroblasts but downregulated or absent in fibroblasts from normal donors. It is also highly expressed in FA B-cells of complementation group A. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] (from NCBI)

Papers on CO-9
[Clinical observation on obesity and hyperlipidemia of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syn- drome in female patients treated with warm acupuncture combined with auricular acupuncture].
Xu et al., In Zhongguo Zhen Jiu, Jun 2015
In the observation group, based on the treatment in the control group, thumbtack intradermal needles were embedded at auricular points, including pi(CO13), shen(CO10), pangguang(CO9), sanjiao(CO17), neifenmi(CO18), neishengzhiqi(TF2), etc. Obesity indices [body mass(W), obesity degree(A), body mass index(BMI), body fat percentage(F%)] blood lipid indices [serum total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein(LDL-C), high density lipoprotein(HDL-C)] and clinical efficacy were observed before and after treatment in the two groups.
[Clinical observation of auricular point sticking combined with western medicine for preventing and treating postoperative complications of external excision and internal ligation on mixed hemorrhoid].
Wen et al., In Zhongguo Zhen Jiu, Mar 2015
The auricular points of Shen (Co10), Pangguang (CO9), Shenmen (TF4), Pizhixia (AT4), Jiaogan (AH6a) and Gangmen (HX5) were selected.
Associations between 25-hydroxyvitamin D and immunologic, metabolic, inflammatory markers in treatment-naive HIV-infected persons: the ANRS CO9 «COPANA» cohort study.
ANRS-COPANA Cohort Study Group et al., Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France. In Plos One, 2012
OBJECTIVES: Low 25(OH)D has been associated with dyslipidemia, insulin resistance and inflammation in both general and HIV-infected (mostly treated) populations.
Analysis of low-concentration gas samples with continuous-flow isotope ratio mass spectrometry: eliminating sources of contamination to achieve high precision.
Evans et al., Pullman, United States. In Rapid Commun Mass Spectrom, 2009
Our empirical estimate showed that this level of contamination results in an error of 1.7 per thousand for samples with near-ambient CO2 concentrations and isotopic values that followed a high-concentration carbonate reference with an isotope ratio of -47 per thousand (IAEA-CO-9).
Enzymatic treatment and use of starters for the nutrient enhancement in fermented flour of red and white varieties of finger millet (Eleusine coracana).
Chandra et al., Chennai, India. In J Agric Food Chem, 1999
Two varieties of finger millet (Eleusine coracana)-a tannin-containing red variety, CO13, and nontannin white variety, CO9-processed by treatment with enzymes (cellulase and hemicellulase) and fermentation with starters (from previously fermented finger millet batter), achieved the desirable goals of reduced fermentation time (12 h), increased acidity (2.2 to 2.4%), enhanced in vitro protein digestibility (IVPD) (14 to 26%), and mineral availability compared to 48 h uncontrolled natural fermentation (Usha Antony and Chandra, 1998).
Identification of a novel c-DNA overexpressed in Fanconi's anemia fibroblasts partially homologous to a putative L-3-phosphoserine-phosphatase.
Kubbies et al., Penzberg, Germany. In Gene, 1998
The comparative analysis of mRNA expression patterns of human diploid fibroblasts from Fanconi's amemia (FA) and normal phenotype led to the identification of a novel cDNA CO9.
