Causal variation in yeast sporulation tends to reside in a pathway bottleneck.
Saint Louis, United States. In Plos Genet, 2014
Through crosses between natural isolates of yeast, we demonstrate that the specific causal nucleotides responsible for differences in sporulation efficiencies reside not only in IME1 but also in the genes that surround IME1 in the signaling pathway, including RME1, RSF1, RIM15, and RIM101.
Pathogenesis of ovarian cancer: clues from selected overexpressed genes.
Baltimore, United States. In Future Oncol, 2009
The genes to be discussed include nuclear proteins (Notch3, HBXAP [Rsf-1], NAC1 and NFkappaB), cytoplasmic proteins (fatty acid synthase and apolipoprotein E) and cell surface/secretory proteins (mucin-4, mesothelin, claudin, HLA-G, kallikrein and folate receptor and osteopontin).
