Efficient herpes simplex virus 1 replication requires cellular ATR pathway proteins.
Farmington, United States. In J Virol, 2013
In fact, we learned that all 10 of the canonical ATR pathway proteins are stable in HSV-infected cells and are recruited to viral replication compartments; furthermore, short hairpin RNA (shRNA) knockdown shows that several, including ATRIP, RPA70, TopBP1, Claspin, and CINP, are required for efficient HSV-1 replication.
Association study of selected genetic polymorphisms and occurrence of venous thromboembolism in patients with multiple myeloma who were treated with thalidomide.
Brno, Czech Republic. In Clin Lymphoma Myeloma Leuk, 2011
In our retrospective study, we analyzed candidate single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP), CINP (rs7011), CETP (rs289747), ALDH1A1 (rs610529), CDKN1A (rs3829963), GAN (rs2608555), vascular endothelial growth factor (rs699947), and ALDH1A1 (rs168351), previously identified in a large association study based on the hypothesis-driven candidate gene approach nominated by the International Myeloma Foundation "Bank On A Cure" (3404 SNPs).
[Danish pioneers of psychopharmacology].
In Dan Medicinhist Arbog, 2010
Mogens Schou advocated throughout his long life for the benefits of lithium treatment for bipolar patients, Lars Gram for the use of drug monitoring in the pharmacological treatment of depressed patients, Erik Jacobsen invented Antabus for treatment of alcohol dependence and later became one of the first presidents of the Collegium Internationale Neuropsychopharmacologicum (CINP) and finally, Claus Braestrup was the first to describe the benzodiazepine receptor.
