Annexin A4 and cancer.
Dalian, China. In Clin Chim Acta, Aug 2015
Annexin A4 (Anxa4) is one of the Ca(2+)-regulated and phospholipid-binding annexin superfamily proteins.
The Proteomic Analysis of Human Placenta with Pre-eclampsia and Normal Pregnancy.
Suwŏn, South Korea. In J Korean Med Sci, Jun 2015
The 11 up-regulated proteins were fibrinogen gamma, cardiac muscle alpha actin proprotein, cytokeratin 8, calumenin, fibrinogen fragment D, F-actin capping protein alpha-1 subunit, Hsp 27, Hsp 40, annexin A4, enoyl-CoA delta isomerase and programmed cell death protein 6.
Cystatin B as a potential diagnostic biomarker in ovarian clear cell carcinoma.
Tokyo, Japan. In Int J Oncol, Apr 2015
Based on hierarchical clustering that revealed a marked distinction in the expression levels of cystatin B (CYTB) and Annexin A4 (ANXA4) in CCC relative to the other subtypes, we focused the study on CYTB and ANXA4 expression in EOCs by IHC, RT-qPCR and western blot analyses using tissue specimens and cultured cells.
Potential targets for ovarian clear cell carcinoma: a review of updates and future perspectives.
Suita, Japan. In Cancer Cell Int, 2014
In particular, we focus on the mechanism of platinum resistance in clear cell carcinoma, including the role of annexin A4, one of the most investigated factors of platinum resistance, as well as the mutant genes and overexpressed proteins such as VEGF, PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway, ARID1A, hepatocyte nuclear factor-1β, ZNF217.
Targeting annexin A4 to counteract chemoresistance in clear cell carcinoma of the ovary.
Ibaraki, Japan. In Expert Opin Ther Targets, 2010
AREAS COVERED IN THIS REVIEW: An overview of the clinical characteristics of ovarian CCC; the role of annexin family proteins in tumor development and progression; the role of annexin A4 in enhancing cellular drug resistance; recent studies linking annexin A4 overexpression to chemoresistance in tumors of ovarian CCC.
